0.2.7

26 October 2026

The bots now have a temper of their own. Each one is braver or more nervous than the next: hurt, a nervous bot pulls back to its tent while a calm one fights on, and a timid bot outnumbered close by falls back while a brave one holds its ground. A bot carrying a flag always heads home.

0.2.6

26 October 2026

Behind the scenes: the arena is now built from a map, in the same form as the new world beyond it, instead of a list written into the code. Every wall, bush, tent and flag stands exactly where it stood, so battles play the same. It is the first step towards new arenas made in the map editor.

0.2.5

6 October 2026

Joining during the "Get ready" pause between battles puts you on the field straight away, in a bot's place, instead of waiting for one to fall.

0.2.4

6 October 2026

Security: a player could no longer have their fighter moved, or their plan blocked, by someone else submitting a plan in their name.

0.2.3

6 October 2026

A permanent leaderboard under Top fighters: wins out of battles played, win ratio, kills, captures and deaths. It starts fresh with this release.
A battle counts on the leaderboard only if you are still in it when it ends. Leaving, signing off or being removed for being away drops that battle.
Away from the keyboard: send no plan for six rounds in a row (two minutes) and you are taken out, with a bot carrying on in your place. Rounds spent waiting to respawn do not count.
Rocks and bushes swapped: L4 with J2, and D8 with F10.
"Captured", "dropped", "returned" and the capture announcement appear a moment sooner, as the fighter steps onto the square.
"Plan submitted", without the round number.

0.2.2

6 October 2026

A battle is now 36 rounds, plus 6 of overtime if tied: still twelve minutes and two, but the clock reaches 0:00 just as the last round's actions end, not while you are still planning it.
Fighters standing in a tent no longer vanish behind it, including an orc taking the humans' flag.
A capture is announced in the middle of the arena, where the victory banner shows.

0.2.1

6 October 2026

Joining a battle under way no longer puts you in the shoes of a bot that has just taken the flag. You take over a fighter who is already down and rise on the next wave.
A capture is announced by name: whoever brought the flag home, in their side's colour.
The victory banner and its countdown are centred.

0.2.0 — Capture the flag

6 October 2026

Primevalor is now capture the flag. Take the enemy flag from their tent and carry it into your own; the first side to score three times wins.
- You can only score while your own flag is at home.
- Carrying a flag costs your first action every round, so you plan four. A new Drop flag button puts it down where you stand.
- Fall while carrying, and the flag drops where you fell. Touch your own dropped flag to send it home.
Battles start every quarter hour and last twelve minutes, two more if tied. Ahead when time runs out, you win.
The fallen rise again together every 40 seconds at their side's camp, in a burst of blue or green. Until then they wait there as ghosts with a countdown.
Join a battle already under way: you take over a bot that has fallen and rise on the next wave.
Bots attack, hold the middle or defend, chase whoever steals their flag and escort their own carrier.
Squares are named like a chessboard, A to O across and 1 to 11 up.
The score and the battle clock sit above the arena, and the Roster button shows captures.
A few rocks and a tree stump moved.

0.1.6

3 October 2026

The whole game fits on one screen, on a phone held either way and on a desktop.
- Sideways, it plays like a gamepad: turning and stepping under your left thumb, your five actions and Submit under your right, the arena in the middle.
- Upright, the buttons sit side by side under the arena, with Submit across the bottom.
- Sign-in, your account and everything else wait below the game.
A smaller arena, 15 by 11 squares, with no frame around it: bigger on your screen, and the two sides meet sooner. Two rocks fewer near the corners.
Humans now stand taller than orcs, and everyone stands on the same ground line.
Fighters standing idle no longer move in unison.
New buttons under the logo. Roster shows how many are standing on each side and opens the full roster. How to play explains the rules. Inventory, Talents and Skills are coming.
A Fullscreen button, where your browser allows it.
Tips like "3 actions left" show above the arena, so the buttons no longer jump.
Fixed a grey band that could appear at the bottom of a phone screen while scrolling.

0.1.5

2 October 2026

A new arena, nearly square instead of wide, so it shows much larger on a phone held upright.
- Both halves are the same, turned around, so neither side starts with the better ground.
- Tents and their flag poles now block the way, like rocks, crates, stumps, the fence and the log.
- The arena is never taller than your screen.
Sign-in codes now arrive reliably, Proton Mail included.
